How to transfer Origin purchase to Steam?

So I paid for and loaded this game via the Origin portal, but want to try it on Steam. How can I load the game without having to pay a second time for what I purchased?

    You can not transfer from one store to another. Furthermore, the steam version launches through origin anyway so instead of having just one store open, you will have two.

i mean the there is at least to my knwolegde no difference between what launcher you use because the game still runs trough your origin application....
if you want it in your library you can do that trough the steam tab "games" and then the last in the list no idea what its called in english but something like "add steam foreign games"

    @X-Sunslayer-X Thanks for your reply. In order to add a game to Steam, I need the CD code, which I dont have, since I purchased 2042 online via Origin. So I am hoping there is another way.
