DICE/EA for the love that is all Battlefield, please get a handle on what's going on with console aim assist and the other unmentionable. It's gotten to the point that it's making the game unplayable.

i am pretty much done with S2....
have all but the new LMG and already bored out of my mind with the game again.....
could be because the game is still a hot pile of mismanaged garbage but hey... at least it looks nice i guess - SeriousJuJu3 years agoSeasoned Ace

@SeriousJuJuDice seems to have improved ALAT with Season 2, as I use to see it spike on some servers as high as 900ms (0.9 seconds). Now it is rare to go higher than 300ms, so I feel they are removing the players that are spiking their latencies, either on purpose or not...
That said, I back out of any BF server if I see my ALAT spike above 150ms-300ms once the game has been running for at least a minute. Note ALAT spikes a lot right before and after launch as the game attempts to sync up players to the BF server so you have to unfortunately wait to see where ALAT settles and then "Leave Match"...
On some smaller game modes in portal, it isn't uncommon for the ALAT (average connected player latency/ping) to run as low as 50ms, and the game runs so amazing smooth and clean that it feels like LAN...
