I can't custom bind keys to my Razer mouse side buttons?

I have a Razer mouse, which has your typical two side buttons. I want to bind one of those buttons with one of my gadget keys. But, nothing is being detected? I even have my Razer software program ru...

That is interesting  - I also have a Razer mouse and have no problem binding Mouse 3 and 4 to a 'gadget' (knife and pistol)...!?!

didn't have to change them in 'Synapse'

====== EDIT=====

Just realised that Knife and Pistol are not gadgets, so I have gone into Edit Key Bindings and had no problem binding Mouse 3 to a Gadget

I am on Synapse 2 though (with a viper 8k)
