I don’t see anyone talking about how awkward it is to switch to your grenade before using it. Am I the only one that is annoyed by this? Was the one button throw too fast for everybody?
The time it takes for me to throw a smoke grenade or EMP is enough for me to die and render them useless.
I use grenades less frequently than I ever did in any of the battlefield games. Is that the desired function of that design?
Help me out here. Please
There is a "Quick throw grenade" function buried somewhere in the settings.

You have this setting available to enable single-button-action to 'quick throw grenades' on both the PC keyboard controls and also on the consoles game controllers!
Here is the setting shown for the PlayStation and Xbox in the BF2042 game:
So you go to OPTIONS/CONTROLLER/ON FOOT. And here you now scroll down to the settings for 'Quick Throw Grenades' to enable single touch button action for this:

It took some getting used to, but I am fine with it now. Remember all of the complaints about grenade spam in BF1? Well this game so far does not seem to have that issue. Especially with Irish also being on the Battlefield with his grenade stopping gadget. I think grenades is something that BF2042 got right.
