@AdamonicTrue. But one point easily overlooked in these 'performance'-related discussions (esp. by those committed to the game, such as those who post here) is that plenty of individuals out there just play to unwind. Just spawn and (try to) have some fun. Grab a gun, build, and try to hit anything that moves without a green or blue mark above it.
Now understandably, those who play strategically are frustrated when they get such players in their team.
Noteworthy to remember in life: not everyone thinks or acts the way we do; however much we would like them to.
Oh absolutely, it is a game, and any player can do whatever they want in the game. However, the whole point to a specific game mode is the objective, how do you win as a team? If a player just wants to play the game to do some random thing, there are a ton of game modes, Portal experiences, Co-op/Solo modes to do that in. You can literally build your own experience and do the exact thing you want to do.
However, you are purposely ruining the experience for others when you join a team-oriented game mode and do some random thing as an individual. What's the point? Again, there are other modes to do that in. Why ruin the experience for others? I play BF mainly for the team aspect of the game. When you have a good squad, and the entire team is PTFOing, it is playing the game how it was intended to be played and really fun.
Think of playing a pickup game of soccer, and 3 players are just hanging out at midfield waiting for the ball, only to turn around and kick it out of bounds every time they get it because it is fun for them. They don't play defense or offense but count as 3 of your 11. So essentially, you have to play the game 11 v 8 with 3 randoms in the middle of the field that periodically get the ball and immediately kick in out of bounds then "lol". How long before that gets incredibly frustrating for the 8 and the other 11 trying to play the game right? But who cares because they are just on the field to unwind, right?
Yes, the world isn't perfect and others seldom act rationally or according to our ethos—either accept this or spend nights awake or in a state of ADHD.
