CloudMcRip,
I understand the situation, I am explaining my concerns, voicing my opinion, and making a suggestion for future improvement. If you like things the way they are that is fine, I am suggesting that it would be a great incentive and great way to community opportunity to have play tests as part of pre-order. Additionally as a way to say thank you to your hardcore fan base, reward them for loyalty and say thank you by offering a perk like access to play tests.
My main gripe is really 2 things 1) I didn't get an access (you are right, future Alpha and Beta tests will be available in the future) 2) I didn't get an email inviting me similar to my friends (boohoo me I was left out)
I'm happy you recall Mr. Berlin's quote, did you get access to the play test? How was it?

Hi @winters326 ,
The access to the special technical playtest was indeed extremely limited!
Just a few thousand players in total got invited, and that across all the 3 platforms. So out of the literally millions of BF veterans of the game, don't take it personally if you didnt get invited, because it was not. EA/DICE had many many more willing candidates that signed up for this event than what they had seats for. And it didnt make any sense either to expand the scope. It was just for a limited technical testing. Nothing more, nothing less.
As a BF Veteran, then you do though for sure though have the option to join the early beta testing if you already pre-ordered the game. So hopefully see you around for that!
