I Think Heroes, Wingsuits, Auto-spotting and Sliding Should Be Removed.

1.) Heroes feature gimmicks rather than actual gadgets to distinguish themselves from other heros than the class system ever was. Meaning, gadgets on heroes are more exatic to try and convince others that hero matters. Classes were this far apart from one another.

2.) Wingsuit allows for too much free movement with little to no risk to the user. It's an idea for a single player casual title, but doesn't belong in Battlefield 2042, it's just bad design.

3.) The auto-spotting allows people to run around with too much information with what's around them. They should have to manually press a commend to spot.

There is an entire class and/ or gadget system about spotting, it's mostly ignored. Why spot things when the game does it for you? What's the point of using cover and/ or going prone when you get auto-spotting when someone is running around?

4.) Sliding gives players too much free movement (sliding down a hill and/ or something okay, but when someone can just repeatedly tap sprint to slide over and over is just bad game mechanics and/ or poor design).

I believe the removal of these could make the game better in my opinion. Flying around with a wingsuit while you shoot at every red nameplate as you slide around isn't Battlefield... Activision knows its core audience and gives them what they want, but EA/ DICE tries to reinvent the wheel with every new Battlefield title, why?

Why does every new Battlefield title have to have some over embellished idea just to sell the title?

Why can't Battlefield just be a first person shooter sandbox without these limitations being in the way. Portal tries to do that, but still has limitations built into it.
