Just trying to figure out how you came to the conclusion based on the only comparative information you could use.
Don't get me wrong, on the off chance someone in EA/dice though they'd get a pat on the back from the state of the tech demo they deserve to get some interesting "feedback", but absolutely nothing indicates that.
Also, this would be a lot easier to shoot down if the tech test could be discussed on here, but it can't.
We're reaching a damn infinity loop on this topic on the forum, but at this point, if i had a say in it, I'd just drop the NDA on the tech test so this particular bugbear could be squashed.
In *no* way a "oh everything's fine" post, but the use of the tech test as a beating stick is about the least useful indicator.

*Glances over sadly at PS5 that didn't get to try it*
In all seriousness though, they moved their release to the same month as CoD Vanguard which seems like a dumb move. And the leakers are the ones who probably forced their hand to finally damn say something, definitely not giving dice a pat on the back when their communication has been non existent besides announcing the delay.
I think they bit off way more than they can chew adding PC to the crossplay.

Going with the flow would be my preference... 😉
- 4 years ago@TankerFlanker I think the timing has put them between a rock and a hard place. You've got CoD Vanguard release 1 week prior to early release and then Halo Infinite release after within 3 weeks of standard release of the game. It'll definitely be interesting, but I do think Battlefield is going to hold it's own in this years FPS battle, because it's a big one.

@gruntbrews_vicvYou still believe in this game, after we didn't see anything and they delayed it?

And yeah, neither EA nor Live Service gaming in general has a track record that warrants a benefit of the doubt. We've seen this movie repeatedly over the past 5 years or so. I want this game to be good. I really do. But now I pretty much expect the standard "show up broke and drag us out for a year or two fixing the game" Live service model lol..
Still, I haven't bailed on it simply because of the 128 player battles. If they pull that off, I would be willing to keep it in a play rotation.

These days many AAA-games launches with issues, lets just hope BF2042 is better than BF4 and BFV were at launch...- 4 years ago@cso7777 True. At least BF4's issues were server related. The actual map content and such was there, you just couldn't get online lol. Which brings up a whole new set of potential issues. Apex is still lagging like crazy after this week's update. Online gaming across the board has been suffering from poor quality. Great time for DICE to decide to make an online only BF2042 right? LOL!!!
