@CantGetRight Maybe, maybe not. But there has always been a loyal fanbase for 3 and 4 and a lot of those people will definitely pick it up. Add that with the marketing they did for this game (at least with the first few trailers) They'd probably still bring in the new players they were targeting and add portal to it and it would be a solid game. The market has been itching in anticipation for a large modern shooter, we saw that with the build up to this release.

@AntEater1997 Oh, I know they would have. People bitched when BF3 was released saying it was nothing like BF2 and was even missing features. LIke the commander mode. Smaller squads and such.

@CantGetRight Yeah and it ended up being the best selling bf I think. It had a loyal fanbase, solid foundation and brought a lot of new players to the series
- 4 years ago@AntEater1997 I guess my point being is that people thought BF was dead when BF3 came out and now BF3 & 4 are regarded as highlights in the BF series. Who knows 2042 might be like Hardline as time goes on or it might be a highlight of the series. I for one am having fun with the game just like I did with Hardline.

But dont accept when the core game is gone. classic class game is gone.
When 9 years ago you were able to give to your customers a battlelog that you could create platoons/ communities/ able to chat and invite your friends easier.... dedicated hardcore servers..
gameplay with squirrels now and apex style and at the same time not fun ground vehicles with more realism when driving and aiming.
Maps with huge empty spaces
and 128 players also is a mess
- 4 years ago@AntEater1997 It had me intrigued enough to buy it and try it out. Never played Battlefield before so I don't know the differences between the older ones and 2042? I'm used to COD but gave up on it due to cheaters and the bad press they've received recently so I decided to give Battlefield a try. Not going to lie, extremely disappointed with the bugs and the lack of game modes, even after the updates. But I'm gonna give it a chance as I kinda like the style of the game and there's still time for them to actually listen to the player base and implement their desired changes into future updates.
