@CountSero And it's fine to be ignorant, but question is more about how experienced player sees and marks stuff out. Can't be really denial of existing bugs and mistakes.
So, you wrote 2 sentence I think there is not much space 😉
Yes, steam is the biggest gaming platform on PC but how long EA is now supporting Steam again? Somewhat between 1 maybe 2 years now? so most of the Battlefield Fans and so-called veterans are still playing on Origin.
And with my original post I have questioned that, the steam numbers are the real thing, when on PC origin is the home base. Also, I think that console have a bigger base than PC
I know how the market place is working on Steam but this has nothing to do with BF2042, they never will put in skin to sell on the market place. I don’t think that EA will get into it related to cross platform gaming.
I think that now nobody is asking for skins but I also have no problem when they in the game and so there a many other players that don’t mind it when there are skins
imo this seasonal event was already in the game on release and they only need to activate it on the server (there where many player which could see the weekly things already due to a bug)
Also, I don’t want to attack or offend you but when I did, I’m sorry mate.
Unfortunately, here are too many players which are frustrated and projecting their disappointment into a hate train and spitting out the same thing every day.
Unfortunately, most of the Battlefield had a rough start and in comparison, BF4 was the worst one on release related to bugs and sever stability.
Yes, BF2042 has issues with performance, Bugs and Qol (as I wrote before) but still the base of the game is good and has much potential for a good battlefield gameand DICE is on a good Way with every patch, so I’m willing to wait.
So see you on the Battlefield
@CountSeroDude, you understand me completely wrong. What did I wrote even before that? Look up page 7...
It's not about how long EA games are in steam. It even doesn't matter cause of commercials. Most veterans obviously play trough Origin. It's about now and future player count. It's even worse if new player joins and realizes how broken game is.
I'm not saying that origin should copy wallet and sell skins. It's how steam works. You said in origin bf is cheaper, sure. I sell my items in steam and it's basically free for me.
Hope you get it now.
- CountSero4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Man_iLoveFishing yes, your right and I facepalm myself right now, I'm sorry mate and I apology for that
This forum needs a better quoting system because multiple discussion in one thread at late night are not easy ☹️ (maybe I’m getting old…)
you are also right related new players there it doesn’t matter which launcher the game is sold on (maybe sometimes the money is important but I think then you choose the launcher where your friends at)
And yes, if got lucky with some items you could use the wallet and get it nearly for free (because normally you need to put in additional money to get skins before)
I know what you mean with the video from silk but in my opinion such videos are not helping us nowadays because many players don’t build their own opinion anymore.
Games are changing all the time and yes Battlefield 2042 has changed allot but is it that a bad thing? I don’t think so it only different and when you like it and it makes fun that is more important than the people that complaining but content creator “mister upset” ore “mr smooth” showed me that BF3 / BF4 / BF1 / BF V had this and that so it must be “bad” or “not good”.
And there are many playeres that never realy played the game or even had bought BF2042 but are complaining´(imho)
Yes bugs, performance issues, game balance and missing some QoL things pulling the experience down and such things needed to be fixed but DICE is already doing it. So lets see what the future will bring
So have a nice day and see you on the battlefield
