I still don't think you should be able to repair any vehicle while being inside it. It's a brain dead mechanic, throws off balance, and its the most frustrating thing to watch a vehicle gain health as you're shooting it.

It is limited to when a vehicle is under 25% but yeah, if you have 2x on a "Transport" helo, you are pretty close to invincible. I am sure they are going to figure that out really quick.
Repairs should not be allowed for passengers. So if there is a dude hanging out on top, sure go for it, but not from inside.
