Seven or eight months now we have not really had any trouble finding the bad in or about this game. Hell, Dice even manages to release some changes once in a while just so we can keep from getting bored with the old stuff and write, report on how things have gotten worse.The list of good is way shorter than the list(s) of bad things about this game so it could be possible, trying to be generous here, that Dice is overwhelmed by the hate and negativity. It cant really hurt to list the good things that you like about this game so that Dice can finally see the possible one of two things that we like so that they can maybe, just maybe build a new game or fix this one based on a solid base of what they have done right.We and I all know that there is no fixing this game period. The damage, problems and issues are just too deep to heal. We see them trying to incorporate things from previous titles but doing it in a manner that is spreading the playerbase out even more which only makes this game that much more of a mess and failure.So what is it that you actually like about this game compared to other releases?

War sound effects are punchy, full spectrum, and realistic.
Video color grading and dynamic range.
Plus System.

Official portal game modes which rotate bi-weekly, especially any official "Hardcore" modes that turn on team damage, faster death rates, faster player movement, and removes radar.

@CascadiaSRL The overal visuals and audio is alright. If we could get rid of stupid operators and replace them with the actual soldiers with BF3 style voice lines, game would be quite immersive.

Tanks / Wildcat gameplay is fairly fun if you play it safe and stay the hell away from any objective / enemy spawn points.

Movement - tactical spirnting, sliding, use of zip lines is well done. But then again, BF5 did it miles better.

Sniping is fun, but unrewarding.

Thats about it.

I went back to the PS4 and Battlefield 1 recently, and these are the things that I immediately missed from Battlefield 2042.
- Tagging or spotting enemy locations after being downed. I missed this so much from Battlefield 2042 as it is such a useful feature to communicate danger to teammates.
- The team chat. Sure it is mostly used for complaining and there usually isn't anything being said in the chat that helps the team, but it is so cool to finally have this in a Battlefield game on consoles.
- Crossplay between three platforms. If Battlefield 2042 had platoons. They would no longer have platform limitations. Also just being able to play with friends no matter what platform they are on is enough for me to always want crossplay in Battlefield games.
- The plus system is also a huge upgrade over previous games for changing attachments. It is a godsend for controller players like myself and should remain in these games.
Edit: I was starting to like the level design after doubting 128 player All Out War when it was first announced, but Breakthrough with this player count became my go to way to play Battlefield 2042. Unfortunately Commander Mode and features for large scale team coordination were not added with the increased player count.

Decent visual fidelity even at low settings
Plus system
Freedom to make my own class instead of having to conform to the limitations that made assault a super class (great guns+ AT explosives) and the recon a noob class (sniper rifles and no AT explosives) in BF1 and BFV.
A return to a less repetitive vehicle playstyle compared to BFV.
The return of Rush.
The return of some degree of customized servers.
Being able to fight bots for practice and gameplay unlocks. It is horrible to play with a baseline gun/vehicle vs fully upgraded ones.
