Serious question! I just want to know!My friends are not too excited for BF2042 after the beta and I was hoping to seduce them with Hazard Zone!Is it free to play or will it hide behind a 70$ wall barrier just like Firestorm (RIP).If it will only be accessed to those who buy the game then this is a little stupid in my opinion! Unless DICE have a really cool Free to play element as a surprise.If anyone knows then please share the info 🙂Thanks

@Threedog1421 they had rumors it would be F2P. But I just heard it also is part of base game. So $60 or more depending on your system. How EA will handle cheaters, price them out lol.

@Threedog1421 tbf there was quite a lot of talk about a free to play component to 2042 early on and HZ was thought to be a contender.

@DaizerNation Just to re-confirm, the information @Its_Travis_199 gave is correct. Purchase of the base game would be necessary to play Hazard Zone.

Edit: People can create Portal experiences without buying the game. Everything else would require the game itself.

Also for Portal, creating the experience is free but if you want to play the experience you created you have to buy the game right?

@DaizerNation Ha! Wonder though if the tool is PC only? I'm guessing so you can still dev games on your PC - if you have one? Either way you are not locked into the machine you have installed BF2042 on.

@Its_Travis_199I see that will be a big problem this mode not be f2p, such the old bfV firestorm mode after launch with no players for make match, ok is a EA choice but i feel 3 modes make the players base divided probly in mostly playing Portal, with less in HZ or WF players. Sincerely dont understand why this choice made, one mode f2p make the live service more rentable if we look people buying battle pass, bring more players and make more life for the mode. Of course this is my lay opinion.
