Is it me or anyone else constantly in defensive side in Break Through Mode?

I wanna level up other guns, but my only gun that's fully leveled up is my Snipper Riffle. That's because I keep putting on defensive side and instead of sitting around the capture points, I find spots where I can down enemies from distance.

When playing Offensive, I like using SMG, but those guns are not really leveled up since rarely I get put on offensive side.

I tried to leave game and join another I keep getting put on defensive side, so  I just stop playing and go play COD.
