is it true bf2042 is a repurposed BR project?
so i came across this post, and for some reason, this is really logical. it all adds up. you people think its true?

@Trokey66 I agree with you. A lot do like the big maps. I think a lot of gamers these days like to have these micro firefights then its over for a few minutes. Which is why it feels like a BR map to me. But hey people love it so not much we can really do if thats what is designed. We either accept it or move on.
Kind of hoping that Discarded and/or Manifest are CQC maps, or at least have sections heavily leaning that way. The descriptions kind of hint at that to me anyway.
Love a meat-grinder map.
