Is the "anti-hoarding" vehicle timer doing more bad than good?

For those who do not know, in BF2042 there is a timer after the destruction of a vehicle that you spawned yourself which is 15 to 3 seconds longer than the respawn time of the vehicle in question. T...

@UP_Hawxxeye There is no perfect vehicle spawn method, everyone, including this one, has had pros and *.

Let's not forget that being able to 'instantly' spawn onto a vehicle on death has been a hotly debated topic on here for a while.

The current system is again not perfect but saying it does more harm, is going a tad far in my opinion.

@Trokey66tell that to all those in my team I cannot save because some mook was given the keys to the vehicle.

I had been avoiding to use vehicles in the last few weeks because I felt I could do more as a soldier than a vehicle in this game compared to previous ones due to the double whammy of the lower vehicle  life expectancy + the vehicle timer.

Even if they really had to regulate people, it could had at least being a vehicle queue instead of expecting from someone to lurk on the spawn screen until a button lights up with no warning.

    @UP_Hawxxeye From somebody that has reached T1 Mastery with the Wildcat, I do agree it can be really annoying to have to wait out a longer respawn timer, especially if the reason your vehicle was destroyed by some Casper with 0 Skill and a C5 drone.

    At the same time, I understand that it's more fair to the rest of your team that they have the opportunity to use a particular vehicle type.

    It does however make me sad watching another person spawn a wildcat and get taken out by a tank because they aren't set-up to deal with them, where as my Wildcat set-up can easily deal with any vehicle, and if I have my good mate in a voice call on my top Gunner seat we can easily Send all their vehicles back to the scrapyard.

    So there are definitely people who are far more dangerous behind the wheels of a vehicle that can make a huge impact to a game, but again it's still unfair to your team to simply allow one person to always have that vehicle type.
