Is the "anti-hoarding" vehicle timer doing more bad than good?

This was something a decent portion of players asked for and I believe the intent with this implementation was to:

• Give the opposition a breather from particularly dominant players on a certain vehicle
• Reduce repeated team intentional/unintentional sabotaging like someone just insta crashing a jet so that a friend on the opposite team could then have an advantage or in the case of unintentional let's ay a novice player who gets insta gibbed because they don't know the game that well. You don't want someone like that to have too detrimental an effect on the entire match which vehicles in the right/wrong hands can certainly do.
• Discourage vehicle hogging so that someone with a script or with a better ping can't always take vehicle X

Although frustrating at times, especially when the death was due to one the many bugs in the game, ultimately the system works for me. Hardcore vehicle specialists will still probably just wait it out but people who might otherwise played the same thing may be diversifying to other vehicles or going infantry.

The vehicle deploy system has some advantages like removing/reducing the predictability of deployment locations and potential for spawn camping. It also saves performance as vehicles not in use don't need to be drawn by GPU. It also means you can deploy vehicles closer to the action and spend less time driving as you don't have to create a base area that is far removed from the flags to prevent base attacks.

Not to mention that you can only suspend your disbelief so far. It just looked absurd to have two airfields so close to each other.
