Is there Counter knifing in 2042?
I will not be getting it if there is. I don't believe it has ever worked properly.

@SeXy_drunkcat The straight answer is: no one knows yet.
I do agree that it was not the most... predictable feature in BF4. I sort of liked it and hated it at the same time.
@TankerFlanker I generally agree with you, but I would make a strong exception for panic knifing... random point and shoot with a knife hoping it connects should reward jack-squat.
