@ATFGunrIt's also possible to snipe and shoot out pilots in other air craft as well, the same is also possible with the Bolte despite it being in the "Armored" vehicles category.
The Stinger seems to have splash damage that goes through the Nightbird it self, when a Stinger hits a Hind/Condor, the passengers take damage but not the Pilot or Gunners.

i have shot pilots out of a HIND and condor with SMGs and DMRS when they are stupid and try to hover near an objective (shoot at the back seater in the hind, that's the pilot and you can get them to crash if you cap him)

@Psubond That's absolutely fine, but I see this, like in the video, the equivalent of firing a RPG at a Tank and killing the Tank Operator from outside.
There's no point in taking a Night Bird when the Stealth Heli can survive for three times as long and impact the game twice as much. Even the Apaches can survive twice as long, solely because a Stinger won't kill you, the pilot whilst flying it.

the difference is you can't shoot the tank driver with a smg. you can in aircraft. if a bullet can pass through the windscreen a surface to air missile definitely should be able to. it all depends on where the missile hits

 - ATFGunr4 years agoLegend@S3SSioN_SoL I wish I had a dollar for every time I’ve been killed through the open window of a Hind / Condor while wrenching. It’s happened where I’ve been on the other side and splash kills me. I’m not bitching about it, just a statement of fact.
