From the preview, it looks like you remaster the BF4. Add some 128 players which it may be lagging later, we will know for sure.

DICE had Chinese/PRC faction in BF4 single-player which resulted the game being banned in PRC. Thus, to make maximum profit this time that they decided to go with the safe US/Russia conflict narrative.

Tons of people have been begging them to go back to a BF3/4 styled game - seeing as how we just got off of WW1 and 2 era games, it makes sense.
It looks like every weapon in the game will be an evolution of current tech.
We saw Canadian, Spanish, and Dutch specialists in the trailers so I don't reckon it will be the same US/Russian story

The reality is most real BF fans and vets wanted a BF2142 Sequel and some wannabe wanted another copy and paste BF3 .. They went for middle of the Road between 2142 and BF4 .
Also BF4 Last DLC Hinted a BF2142 SEQUEL where the Tian " BF2142 " Flying base was under construction 40 years later it should be achieved look it up if you were a BF player you would already know that !
I really do wonder if so called 'veterans' of the franchise actually comprehend the information given them!
Although scant, there is plenty of 'back story' already released to explain the criticisms in this thread.
