@kregora That’s not the case here. I’m getting insta-killed by AR’s because it shows in the killcam. If it were a grenade launcher, I would understand.
The key factor is that it started happening recently. I played about three weeks ago with no such issues. I tried several different servers with the same experiences. Maybe they broke something in a recent patch. It happens quite often with most FPS games like BF and COD.

Part of it could also be that as the player base is dropping again, you are being teamed up with other players around the world who will have vastly different ping rates and connections.
- @Rusty Rat That's impossible. Because the game region locks you if your ping is too high. So players who are in regions with low player counts can't even play the game.
The only way for them to play is through the Portal server browser. And at this point... Who isn't playing through Portal.- @S3SSioN_SoL not until it gives me same progression speed through battlepass as AOW:
@LlamaWithKatanaFULL XP servers are identical to AoW. Further adjustments result in Moderate XP and then Restricted XP. The only reason I'd play AoW is so the server can fill with AI since AI is not allowed in Portal unless you want Restricted XP for some reason...
@S3SSioN_SoL It may lock you out if you have a high ping originally, but what does it do if your ping changes while in game? You can also have a good ping to local servers, but does it merge regions to fill games? Seem to get quite a few US players in game and I am in Euro zone. They may be doing it deliberately, but that still affects ping.
