I don't know if it's true or not, but Portal definitely could benefit from a little more attention on EA/Dice's part.
I agree, I've always thought that Portal had the potential to really be great, and I tried giving a lot of positive feedback and suggestions but sadly it felt as if much of that input was ignored or dismissed.
Portal and AOW were two different teams at the start. Resources were diverted to helping fix AOW after so many community members left feedback so we wouldn't have gotten map redesigns and class changes the way we did if more work was put into Portal. I'm really hoping they go all-in on Portal for future seasons/titles

i would have rather not had my gadgets locked and had a better portal experience. that'd be a win win
