- lookcr4 years agoSeasoned Ace@VBALL_MVP That's exactly it, for me the arguments don't make sense. When talking about Teamplay, what classes killed him, I think, what changed from one game to another? I even commented on one point, if we really need a closed class as a Medic, to play as a Medic, the problem is with the player, not the system, what you have there to do anything, including playing in a way more "traditional" if you want, just assemble for that.
The game has so many other problems, map design, lack of cover, performance, now complaining about scoreboard, and that about classes doesn't seem to make any sense, in my opinion of course,
seems to be one more "Don't change my game if I don't get mad"
The other points, like voice, animations, skins I understand, but it's aesthetic so there's nothing to discuss - CantGetRight4 years agoNot applicable@Skill4Reel I truly think most people are too stupid to realize this or they just want to * and complain. For some reason, they think teamwork was tied to those classes and with the new specialists, there is no teamwork. I for one hardly see any teamwork in any BF game.

@BGHFlakjacketYou have brought an interesting game to the topic, Hell let loose has a strong class system, but suffers from the same problem as bf, I can talk because I played a lot, Doctor is sometimes scarce, how many times did I get into matches than the officers and the Commander was more concerned with kill than teamplay, they didn't focus in put on respawn point, didn't throw supplies,
coordinate the team ...Edit:
@CantGetRight Exactly, for me in theory it doesn't change anything, it won't matter if the guy gets a Specialist/Class if he wants to be selfish, it will be with or with another
- BizzyVaping4 years agoNot applicable@CantGetRight Yeah that has been my experience to. Every game had like 5% of the players trying to play as a team, while the other 95% were camping out of harms way or just didn't give a * about teamwork.
If you didn't have a squad of people you knew, you were on your own
The teamwork that was there was mainly do to it beeing a semi XP farms. Like running a revive train in BF3/BF4. No one did that for the good of the team, they did it for the points. - CantGetRight4 years agoNot applicable@BizzyVaping And the funny thing is people keep saying that the inclusion of specialists has taken the teamwork out of BF. I am like what * game have you been playing.
- cornybbq24 years agoSeasoned Ace@snakeeyes00 I will re-buy battlefield 4 tomorrow. Hope it still has an active community…
- @snakeeyes00 The best way to deal with this is to only play in Portal with classes. If nobody plays the Specialist centric AOW and is seen playing with classes in portal DICE will see that and have to adjust fire to 'save the franchise'. This is how the multiple unwanted TTK changes were rolled back in BF5 because people simply stopped playing and became vocal on social media.
The article acts like specialists aren't going anywhere yet DICE just sent out surveys to players specifically asking about Specialists which makes me think they aren't as set in stone as the article or DICE portrays. - SirBobdk4 years agoSeasoned Ace
Teamwork depends on those who play and not whether it is classes or specialists.
I have no problem accessing any weapons or gadgets.I do not like specialists due to the hero theme with name, story and voices. I'm getting annoyed. Someone will probably say it's nothing, but I can not help it.
Make them anonymous with the ability to customize and I'm all in.
- lookcr4 years agoSeasoned Ace@SirBobdk This is a realistic opinion.
It's one thing not to like what they've done, and honestly, even though I don't care about that sort of thing, I think they got it wrong at that point, especially with their voices. Now to say that he killed teamplay like the people are saying, never... - Trokey664 years agoSeasoned Ace
@SirBobdkThe back story malarkey doesn't bother me really but other than that, I agree.
If players don't want to build a 'Medic' loadout and play as a Medic, that is their problem, not the games fault.
I'll be honest and say I'm not totally sold on the specialist idea but they are not adversely affecting my enjoyment and wouldn't be upset if classes did return but I am not going to whinge and demand it.
