Between the lack of a Wildcat, a CAV or a LATV, the nightbird seems to be really hard to get rid off if the pilot is good enough.I wonder how big a difference the Predator SRAW will make in all this because right now it seems like this map seems like be a stat padding ground for Nightbird pilots.This is coming from someone who is also using the nightbird when the chance comes.Edit: Also the automated turret that is defending the spawn can be destroyed by the Nightbird and probably also does not see it when it is bellow radar...

No body should buy another title from this particular group of devs. Definitely don’t pre-order. Trust must be built back up and earned again.

@MADMAC50Kthis is less about the nightbird itself in isolation and more about how there are no LATVs, WildCats or CAVs.This is like how ecoystems work in the real world. If you remove the species that can keep a predator in check, the predator will ravage the area.The inclusion of LATVs alone with their 20mm Flak would have been really helpful.I do not understand their thought process with excluding jeeps but providing tanks.A lot of things about this season are borderline insane decisions

Map is decent for an infantry map. But crap dice decides to throw a little bird, which has been overpowered since the start, which makes it a crap map to play.dropped the ball, like always. last title i will be buying from them.

Another round totally dominated by nightbirds. Round ended 0-864. Enemy NB pilot finished 72-3. Fixed AA is a joke I terms of location and damage. NB easily ducks behind dunes while flares replenish. Changes to flares made zero difference to vulnerability of NB. I'm off to play something else.

It is definitely hard to get rid of a well flown nightbird on the new map.

Engineer's and AA missiles man. and the new Haven map has like no places to hide against homing missiles. lol Unless that nightbird pilot is stupid good at throttle control and can hide behind a house/building really neatly, its gonna get shot down. Couple that with the increased flare recharge rate, you have no excuses to take one down.

@NehkidGramma84 The big sand dunes in the north? Hello? The many buildings breaks every stinger lock and fired missile. DICE made a bad conquest map again that is too small and confined for the vehicles with poorly thought out vehicle choises.

@UP_Hawxxeye Do we even have confirmation a SRAW is a one-hit kill? It's also a stupidly high level in the battle pass to unlock.

My conclusion from playing haven is that it's up to the classic old Liz TGM to stop the Nightbird from racking up 100's.

@UP_HawxxeyeDoesn't have to be good, just competent or better, my VHD has put more holes in the NB than the Vulcan AA can manage.
To kill the NB with AA, it needs to be already damaged and fly down your barrel... how do I know? Well that's what I did, put a stinger in him and he got mad and flew in a straight line down my barrel. He still killed me in the AA twice :-/
Bottom line, unless someone is going to protect the AA from the Heli (oh the irony), it's a death trap. That's why no one mans it.

The map isn't even big enough to justify the need for air vehicles. It's just DICE trying to make the flybois happy. Clearly one of the DICE flybois or Stevie Wonder decided on the location for the fixed AA, as even if they were better than peashooters (which they aren't), their position means they'd still be utterly useless. Their location and damage needs fixing asafp. The location of the fixed AA on Reclaimed for example is pretty good, and I always thought that did decent damage, so don't know if they've stealth nerfed it or the AA on the new map is different. Definitely feels pretty useless.
In the few rounds I've played, most pilots use the dune to dodge rockets and respawn flares etc. Seemed easy to stay in the sky for anyone that knew what they were doing.
