The last release map rework will be done this season, these rework maps are better, but still not good.
I'd like to see old favorite add to portal, Metro maybe, it has been so long since release. I'd be so disappointed to see one new map only next season!
1 new map + 1 remastered map would be the hope. 2 new map? I don't know how likely that will be, it will be a surprise though.
I would rather have new maps for the main BF2042 part not portal, as in portal we have some good old maps but main BF2042 wise we would need some new good ones.
In the best case new ones for both actually. 🙂
But if we would get a good new one for main BF2042, this one could also be used to choose in portal then.

Please no Metro or any of it's iterations, no more!!!
Seeing more maps from older titles being added to Portal would be nice. Maybe not Metro, just because weve had a version of that fairly recently, but there's a whole host Dice could choose from.

Didn't say it must be Metro directly but they could take a look at them and find a good mix of maybe both.
Not Metro itself again like we got it from BF3 to BF4. 🙃 Was cool back then but wouldn't need it here again the exact same way.
