@PrecisionWing The only reason is that someone in Dice thought it would be a good idea.
They never ever care about what the core playerbase thinks. The playerbase that constantly keep shrinking because Dice runs their studio like this nowdays.
I bought the game because how it was in the release. Now there is nothing left of that and EA should give a refund for that.
What other product you buy would you accept this behaviour from?
Imagine that you buy a chair for a couple of hundred. You discover a problem and send it back to the store. When you pick it up again it has a totally different function and colour. You ask them what happen and they answer "we thought this change would be better for you" and when you want to return it they say "sorry, but you have used it too much".
