The spread of the main vulcan gun is just too much. Jets have no use in countering helicopters anymore.Damage on ground units is also way too low or maybe connected to the massive spread.

Outside of being NPC missile launchers the are garbage and unfun their gameplay consists of flying around locking on to things and flying away constantly on repeat one of the worst vehicle designs in battlefield history hands down. Cannons suck the jets fall out of the sky when slowing down they just feel clunky the physics is broken skill ceiling is low skill floor is insanely high. There's so much to fix idk where to even begin I know they only care about new players doing good but pointing a middle finger to all the BF veterans and pilots was a BAD MOVE mark my words this franchise is nothing without its OG BF fans.

I also think the air superiority plane in this game is the worst ever. The fighter that exists to suppress the astonishing attack helicopter to the ground troops is the framework of the same attack aircraft. Moreover, in order to obtain a missile for ground attack, an air superiority fighter that cannot be shot down is forced. No matter what you think, the order is reversed.In this case, choosing an all-attack helicopter from the beginning would contribute more to the ground forces.A helicopter targeted by a fighter will be out of range of the missile from the ground if it rises to an altitude of 1000.If you pass upwards, you will be out of control, and even if you fight at the same altitude, the fighter will always be from the second seat Gunner because the flare will recover by the time the fighter turns again and shoots the missile again. Continue to take damage.Fighters can also use flares only once, but attack helicopters can be headed on and shot from the back after passing, so damage is inevitable.Since there are missile attacks from the ground, it must be said that the survival probability of fighters is very low.Besides these, there are too many problems such as anti-aircraft radar that is too narrow.It's the worst result ever.Below the garbage. A quick resume of all the problems:

- Slow maneuverability and speed

- Main cannon spread extremely high and bullet velocity too slow.
- No radar
-No lock on direction indicator

- Flares are broken and the missiles hit you anyway

- Missiles are meta thanks to the garbage flying mechanics that rewards lock on weapons.

- SU-57 FELON clearly faster and agile than the F-35

- Boring and slow dogfights, we need bf3 or Bf4 flying mechanics back

- Only one anti ground weapon to deal with tanks

I have also found when your in the cockpit you have no idea when an enemy jet is after you, you cannot hear when missiles are on you and it feels really quiet with no atmosphere.

@SithMetal71 This is primarily because there is no radar.
In previous titles you had radars and you could hide from them flying low or disappear for a few seconds from it by using the ECM jammer.

Could these sort of issue deserve a community manager to response? I find that any feedback about Jet will be ignored.
Any news about the vehicle balance related to JET?
Lots of threads discussing feedback about JET here but no dev or community manager officially show up. I just want to know that how DICE will do about adjusting vehicles.

thats about the only this we need..............an actual FIX for dogfighting....who here thinks this lock on stuff is LAZY and garbage........i loved it when you actually had to have skill..... like in 1942 DC mod...... no tracking missiles, they only fired straight, and to really get kills you had to FLY.....not this pu55y garbage just follow and lock on crud....like seriously. this flying mechanicism is craaaaaappp

@JudgmentOfHelion As a veteran from Bf3/Bf4. I think any change will be great if the change is fun. In the meanwhile, I think flying Jet in 2042 is much more like the simulator to play a semi-finished goods which Imitate Ace combat 7...

Your not the only one...I was in a chopper and had an enemy jet hit me with a few gun shots then flew right through us..killing all of us but he flys away...rubbish
