jets...

Hi.

Dice, your jets s**k... They need to be fixed. It's a brick. It should pull nose a bit faster up. Can't really perform any sort of ground attack and mostly in air for views, since theres nobody to kill in air.

  • YES I think that now the planes have added extravagant physics, when you fly down to attack people, gravity starts to lower you even lower, which complicates aiming and it is difficult to get out of this situation later. plus, the splash from shells when they hit the ground is too big so much that you can’t even see the enemies behind it.

Also in this game there is no classic dogfight, because the dice made the F35 less maneuverable than the RF aircraft. so there is no carnage to fly the a35 against the RF aircraft

@HendaiMan exactly, literally makes no sense when i'm locking something with guided missile, i'm almost facing the ground. And in dogfights i remember bf3 had same issue but their difference was way smaller.

I feel like the jets are fairly decent handling wise other than they share a spawn token with choppers for some stupid reason.  Also, their AGMs suck since a few updates ago.  Their handling is good with practice...  I'm T1 in both of the jets and have a lot of experience.  I enjoy them but hardly fly them because of well spawns.  1 air attack vehicle for 128 conquest seems stupid.  Jets need their own category.   I'm not sure who is balancing vehicles at dice but apparently their solution is to remove them entirely.

@CBF-Arhanhow do you counter SU with F35?

EDIT: I'd like them but they should pull nose faster up. Even not in steep angle its drunky.

EDIT2: Even tho i've been flying in bf3 and a lot in bf5, planes handle much better.

EDIT3: Okay, enough is enough. I can't gain SU with f35 at all, throws radar rockets at me and calling a day. Oh and btw, they are way too fast and accurate? What i want to say, i don't play infantry, its terrible. I don't play helos anymore cause of Hindi. At least could i get decent dogfight? No. Theres literally nothing left for me to be attached. :D

Also there no such thing like spotting enemy by pressing Q, like in BF3. One more reason that its hard to find a infantry and track them.

Lol, it's near impossible to drop nightbird down cause of maneuverability. AD (yaw) are too slow, can't really aim cause jet goes STRAIGHT.

@Man_iLoveFishing  It depends.  It was a horrible mismatch a few patches ago.  Now the F35 can be a bit more evasive it still is a bit slower than the SU in dog fights.   I like to chicken them into nose diving and pulling up at the last second or hitting vtol mode and watching them zoom past or smash into the ground.  Then they susceptible to your air radar missiles immediately if they fly past while you're hovering.   Once they go past turn off vtol mode and engage them.  Usually, you can shoot them down then.    Otherwise just out play them 😉 I find a joystick helps a lot on the pc side of things.  Though your accuracy with the 25mm/30mm falls off it still is a traditional way of playing for pc nerds.

Some good ways of engaging can be just turning then cutting up into the sky and getting them to lose you.  Sometimes flying low to ground or up in the clouds can work.  I been practicing cutting up and flying straight back towards them and it seems to work great.  Especially when engaging a vehicle after it flares to get back on them quickly.    I like the hover mode a lot with the f35.  You can for example go out of range of other vehicles and hover and get your flares/repair back up stuff like that.  Speed control is very helpful, as well as free look and other camera controls.  The f35 is slower though.  Hopefully this helps.

@CBF-ArhanNone of that applies on experienced pilot. I can foul and do that all, simply guy pulls nose up and re-dives/re-loops above and behind me. Problem is, in bf3 there was differences too, but way slighter. In 2042 it takes one loop and he is out of your sight. This needs to be fixed ASAP, i'm so over with one having way higher advantage over me.

I agree on hover mode, its easy to snipe with that tho. But again this shouldn't be advantage over air vs air combat. And so far with speed control, isn't jet turning faster when its on full throttle in 2042?

EDIT: F35 making E-Brake is just sloppy way to get behind SU, sure can cut loops and barrel rolls to get behind, but it's not enough, SU gets away within seconds while my crosshair almost warps on it, i just have chance to scratch it.
