EA... We go through this every time you release a new BF game. Add Joystick support, please. I know its not priority #1 for you guys, but A LOT of us use joysticks instead of XBox controllers for flight.

Try to fly a jet, completely stuck and in an endless loop until out of bounds

Total farce. I have never been able to use controllers or keyboard to fly aircraft.
Imagine getting onto a flight ond seeing the pilot useing a controller or KB and mouse.
OMG where i can apply for a refund? EA and DICE just ruined my BF experience from first ever game in Battlefield series... OMG

Not having joystick support, in a game that heavily features/markets aircraft, is some supreme trash heap development for you.
They do this with every BF iteration though... It'll take them probably 2 months to add support, but in the mean time, PC gamers get the short end.,
Typical BIG business. F**k the customer for every penny they can and send it to a couple of rich assh**e that own it. They don't give 2 sh*ts about the customer as long as we are stupid enough to keep buying their stuff. I have asked them for a refund on my game because Battlefield 2042 really sucks. Old maps I played long ago. The lag has been so bad on their servers for me, I will take me years to earn a weapons upgrade. I have owned every BF game since the franchise started. I have always been a horrible shot and it has taken long hours of game play -mostly because I'm waiting spawn in cause I'm dead- to get a weapon upgrade. Most of the time I only get the upgrade off a dead guy....LOL So EA should honor your HOURS of play and not just accuracy. I play medic or supply 98% of the time because it's the only thing I can contribute to keeping the squads going. I am really sick of getting pretty costumes to wear and fancy ornaments for my carbide because I've been promoted. Give me a god damn better gun.....Pretty is something for the vain, macho, I'm God sh*ts that tea bag you when your down. Sorry for the RANT...
I wouldn't call it typical big business anything... Its simply them having other priorities. They delayed the game's launch, meaning it wasn't ready, so the fact it doesn't have joystick support out of the box isn't a surprise, since that's less critical than other things they probably needed to fix. My appeal is that they add it, but I can wait a little while.
These games are massively complex. I'm speaking as a dude that owned an Atari 2600 and Pong, but am still a gamer. So have a little patience, young man. BF4 wasn't perfect out of the box (also lacked joystick upon release), but they eventually got it right.

Are you sure. I do not remember that the BF4 lacked joystick support. BF1 did, but they solved it quickly, and BFV had many problems with binding buttons. The last game with real joystick support was BF2 if I remember correct.

Hope to see some joystick support soon. Until then I'm using joystick to keyboard+mouse emulator. It's not the best, but it works.
- @susplurus which emulator are you using? I'm using x360ce and it's not going well.
