Joystick Support
I'm considering pre-ordering as I have for past Battlefield games but wanted to know more about any details regarding support for joysticks. I find flying with them is much better but support for the...
Hi,
Still no joystick support...I've uninstalled it waiting for Joystick support on PC version.
See you in one month if the game still exists 😳
This game seems to have so many bugs and shortcomings that joystick support is probably far down the list. I've lost faith that it's going to happen. Even if it happens I'm not sure I'm buying it. I am slowly losing interest in the game.
I don't know why it wasn't included if it was supported in previous BF titles.

It is included. The setup is there but the game dosent recognize the joystick. We had the same problem in BF1 at launch but they solved it within the first week.
Ahh I see well I hope they fix it in the next update.
DICE?
Where you at?
Turn the gawd damn joystick controller switch ON!!
(Idiot)
2 months and still no solution.
I guess it's just the story around BF2042. And not just Joystick Support.
Really disappointing.
DICE?
Im still here 🙂
and ur still an idiot 🙂
Thanks
I know many players within this Thread have used a Joystick in other Battlefield games, I have been making these posts since before the Play Test last year and the PC Gamers are still as upset (or highly disappointed) that Dice has not fixed this Issue (yet). I watch console players in review videos and notice while there are some features we do not have available on a PC, they are still allowed to use them...Does this turn into a unfair advantage? Yes and No. If a console controller is programmed into the coding of the game (joysticks) then Dice should be able to add the use of a dedicated Joystick for the PC gamer as well, without having to use a xbox controller. While there are many typical aspects or features that a gamer expects from a Battlefield Title that still have not been addressed (hopefully upcoming Soon), I do enjoy BF2042 but like many other Gamers but We all just want this Title to be Great!
Hurry up DICE, give us the very simple to implement flight controls for our joysticks.
the market for joystick flight sims is bigger than ever and this gets left out.
sleep walking into a new job with that attitude!!
Still nothing new. It's a simple question. Should not be difficult to answer.
will there be joystick support or not
Still waiting
I’m trying to figure out if EA, is going to add hotas or joystick capabilities to the new battlefield 2042. Every battlefield has it except this one.

There are many players in the same position as yourself and have been asking for joystick support.
You can follow and add your support to this main thread :

Hope this helps, and I hope they add full joystick support "SOON" in the upcoming updates.
Can some @ dice and @ Ea

Yeah there is definitely a demand to have full joystick support added asap.
Yes indeed
Unbelievable how much failure of dice and ea in this game.

You would have expected it to have proper Joystick support right from the launch.

I really can't believe BF2042 was released without proper Joystick support.
I also can't believe you have still heard nothing and you are left totally in the dark.
No wonder you are frustrated when all the posts on this forum requesting joystick support seem to have been ignored.
As you say you would expect DICE to have the time now to address this issue in the coming updates.
