I really can't believe BF2042 was released without proper Joystick support.
I also can't believe you have still heard nothing and you are left totally in the dark.
No wonder you are frustrated when all the posts on this forum requesting joystick support seem to have been ignored.
As you say you would expect DICE to have the time now to address this issue in the coming updates.

I reach a point where it is no longer interesting to buy the game even if they fix joystick support, server browser or specialists. I'm excited when a new BF game comes out, but gradually that excitement disappears to a point where I no longer bother to look at the game. Then I'd rather wait for the next one. But if they sell it for 20 eur I might want to buy it anyway.

I really looked forward to the BF2042 release but soon became disappointed when I saw the state the game was released in.
Previously when a new BF title was released I looked forward to getting in and playing for hours on end.
Learning the new maps / weapons etc. That excitement has been tainted due to how frustrated I get with BF2042 in it's current state.
It is going to take a lot of time and effort to rejuvenate BF2042 imho.

Looking at EA poor earnings with BF2042 is because of things like joystick support. EA deserves what it gets.
wont be buying another EA game, joystick support should have been there from day 1 & it's still not fixed, besides the hax, I played 6 hours and can't get a refund what a joke.

Yeah full joystick support should have been there from launch as you say.
