@Trokey66 Agree. SMG's should be best at short range, Assault at medium range, and DMR/Sniper for long range, with little crossover. Still not sure how to categorise LMG's, though.
@Lancelot_du_Lac LMGs should be more for static emplacements covering AR and DMR ranges, should be terrible on the move and bad if hip fired.

@AdamonicWhy should be ? They are allready terrible on the move, your ADS movementspeed is literally nonexistant compared to all other guns and both lmgs have a lot of recoil which also makes them inferior to other guns on the move.
Theyr mainpurpose is to deal suppression but since there is no suppression mechanic they have to be laser accurate in order to get the job done.
Which both lmgs luckily currently are.i have almost 230 mastery on the lcmg and this weapon is really well balanced, I just hope they get a surpressor to hide muzzle flash instead of swiching to sub sonic round which only has 100 rounds in the box
