Kaleidoscope Rework Feedback

So we just got a better version for the map named in the title. It plays way better, even when the upper side of the map could have a lot more cover. 

Comparing it to the lower side of the map its weird that they somehow went absolutely nuts on that side while the upper side still feels empty and bad playable.

Aside of that: DICE you just reworked B1 and B2 and the path to D1. What on earth was the reason behind the decision to cut B1 and B2 from the 64 player version of this map?

You cut the area with the most cover after rework? Can someone explain this? This doesnt make any sense.

Do they really play their own game?

    Yeah I couldn't quite understand that either, I find myself playing almost exclusively on the area with the most cover, seems strange that they seemed to only do part of the job.

    Totally agree with you, players are still vulnerable in those other areas. 

  • @Sooxzay they ran out of assets. In the Dev video, they said they had to take away assets elsewhere to add in the FOBs in B sector.

    So I thought it would be a good idea to delete the entire car tunnel that never gets used. Just seal the entrances off with rubble, make the elevators inop and use all those assets to add cover in the untouched areas.

    However, this map is done. They have made the changes to the map, and they are not coming back to this map again, unfortunately.

    We will likely only see 4 maps edited, one per season.

    Once S4 is done, they won't be updating any additional maps, and they surely won't be hitting edited ones a second time like Kaleideoscope.
