It’s not even a competitive shooter with a ranking system or anything. I’ve always thought it should be an option on console. Aim Assist is so aggressive these days does it really matter?
You could use a xim, but that’s only making it harder for people who can’t afford that.
I'd prefer to not see KBM on console unless they overhaul the matchmaking rules.
I believe Apex Legends has the best solution.
Matchmaking pool A: Console controller users
Matchmaking pool B: Console KBM users, all PC players, console controller users partied with KBM/PC players.

Does Apex have native MnK support? Keep in mind tons of people are using strike packs and xim devices on console.
I’m on PC and I get killed by console players all the time. Even when I get the drop on them, but I think that’s because of lag compensation or something. I don’t think it’s because they’re on console, but something is up with hit reg/net code. It really feels like if you have a good connection at times you’re the one getting screwed. I’m a pretty decent player too in my opinion.
My point is that playing a good player on controller or with a mouse will be challenging no matter what.
Keep in my mind controllers are great for people with accurate thumb muscles, but for a lot of people that’s not the case. Controller are kinda one size fit most hands. With a mouse I can get something that actually fits my personal hand size and shape.- 4 years ago

I have nothing against KBM players (I played Battlefield using KBM for 10+ years) I just don't want to see controller players 'forced' to play against them.

@AngrySquid270Not conflating, but it is my experience that I get killed equally if not more by console players. Again, they have aim assist and it's not a competitive shooter.
Edit: You missed the top half of my quote btw. Those are some valid points as well.
