@WinterbornGuard It sounds like you have never been on the tower on Firestorm or the cliffs on Sinai, there are plenty of examples through BF's history where there are multiple places one could see most of the map. Indeed, it would be almost impossible to create an 'open air' map where this was not possible in some way shape or form.
@TheCompton73 the buildings in the villages still afford some cover when 'destroyed'.
But this is the very problem, how do you balance destruction and cover?
People want more cover, OK let's put a building or 2 in that field.
People want more destruction, OK you can destroy those buildings.
Where's my cover gone!
Kaleidoscope has loads of trees and bushes for cover only problem is, vehicles can destroy them by simply driving through them!
Oh, and getting domed from miles away by a camping sniper has been an ongoing issue in every Battlefield, BF2042 is not unique in this.
I've been round these forums since BF3 and that is long enough to know that the 'community' always contradicts itself on matters such as this.

I gave the solution to that very dilemma in the post you responded to, but you've chose to ignore it because it doesn't fit the narrative of your argument I guess.

But then there are people who want buildings to be completely levelled.
