Lack of progression in PvE is absolute crap.
My friends and I bought this game purely for the PvE element. It was advertised as you being able to unlock everything and progress in custom matches against bots. Coming from a game like Insurgency Sandstorm, where we play highly customized matches in a hardcore "high dmg/no hud" style against bots, we all figured Portal would allow us to experience the game without playing against 13-18yr old sweat-lord try-hards. Being penalized this weekend and not being able to make progress towards any weapons or attachments is flat out ridiculous. I never intend to take what I've unlocked into a PvP match. Leave it the way it was. Do NOT penalize us for simply increasing velocity to 3.0, and global damage to 3.0. I can die just as easily as the bots.
