Related to this post ([Discussion Thread] Core Feedback - Specialists ) i don’t see any future for me in Battlefield anymore.I liked BF2042 as it is and the Specialists system was imho the best thing with the freedom of choice.And in my humble opinion DICE is going the easy way with bringing back restrictions instead of finding a real balance for the specialists and vehicles.Yes, there are some issues with BF2042 but still I played more than 550 hours and had fun with it. @CountSero I would hold off and wait and see how these changes actually impact gameplay before I got too excited just yet. I am for returning to the old-school class system myself, but I do understand others' differing opinions and the pluses and minuses of each side.Hate to see ya give up on it but I understand if you don't wanna wait and see.Best of luck to ya bubba!

@CountSero You can’t find real balance with a specialist system, it is, if not, the mainreason why this game died so fast in the first place apart from having no content.Finaly BF returns to its unique core and what made it special and teamworkengaging in the first place… just far to late I’m afraid.A huge piece of soul returns and ppl will notice it, the few oranges on the appletree doesn’t matter if they leave.So yeah..bye

It's a really odd decision by Dice here.I left in January, as I think Specialists are terrible and can in no way be made to work. I'd imagine lots of players left for that reason, amongst others, yet they are now trying to fit a class system in, that in no way goes far enough, and will likely annoy those who stuck around and actually enjoyed it as it was? Why? This change won't bring me back, as it doesn't address the core specialist issue, so will it being others back? Or just lose those who stayed?

@CountSero thank you as well. And I plan to not play 2042 until we get proper content so probably after season 4 is released (likely the final season). One map just isn't doing it for me. The fact that they told us they will be updating portal yet we've seen no maps added to portal is really just terrible. I could've cared less about the specialists systems. That was not the problem with this game. It was the terrible maps and the limited number of them to go along with the lack of guns.

@CountSero Hate to see anyone go!!! I don't think they are saying it will be limited though. The Specialist have always had a class assigned to them and I often wondered what that was all about. Maybe it's just a system that was thought about like the older titles, just not implemented like so many other things.
