After today it was confirmed that the map of the Season 7 will again be only 64 players, along with the previous two. because he says he never reported anything. Because he says he never reported or clarified that no more maps of 128 players were going to come, who were what they sold???, and what many bought. The silence on the subject is the worst. Although we are used to it.

@borroma31 After playing this since release, the game can’t handle 128 players. Maybe it’s the servers that can’t handle it, but 128 players was both a fun and miserable experience. The connection was just awful, the network compensation is just wrecked at higher player counts. Of course we were all excited for 128, and bought it in part due to an expectation of bigger maps and more players, and got burned as they couldn’t pull it off. From a game play perspective, the smaller maps and smaller pops play so much better. 100% a game & developer issue, but it’s what we got.

I think the 45Hz servers struggled with 128 player, that's what I felt anyway. 128 players would have been fun if the maps and servers could have supported them.

I think they already said they are going to only make smaller 64 maps. I believe it was a lack of talent to cope with the increase to 128 players.It's quite unfortunate actually I was looking forward to a new 128 player map. So much possibilities ruined.

I think they already said they are going to only make smaller 64 maps. I believe it was a lack of talent to cope with the increase to 128 players.
It's quite unfortunate actually I was looking forward to a new 128 player map. So much possibilities ruined.

A lack of talent could be one piece, but could also be the engine is not made for that many players and the setup for an actual battlefield.
Could bring back the old quote from lead designers responding to players asking for larger player counts, stating they couldn't make it fun or work.
From what I've seen with this game, that was correct.

The more people, the more chaos and I love chaos. I hope it's a 128-player map.
As a sniper, I prefer shooting at different targets rather than shooting at the same players who know my position.

I enjoy 128 but the game runs so much better server wise on 64

I at least hope that the 128 player maps are the reason we have 45Hz servers... I would hope that they wouldn't have made them worse if it was just 64 player like in previous games.
