Why cancel the vehicle upgrade progress of killing AI? We need it! Because in normal games, vehicles are always insufficient.

Same here, this is really frustrating. I'm struggling to get into AOW games, and single player/portal provides no progression. What's the point in playing an FPS game centered around weapon/character progression when that progression isn't taking place?
