@LunatlqueI agree 100% that they need to quickly bring back a robust unlock system for Coop/Solo bot players.
The only way to do this correctly and fairly was to make 2 separate unlock systems. One for competitive MP and another for solo/coop modes. What you unlock in solo/coop should only be usable there and vice versa for competitive MP.
Sharing of unlocks only promotes abuse of the system by the cheating competitives, who by the way should have their accounts perma banned.
Shutting down the system is unfair for the bots players since many of us purchased the game based on the fact that we were told we'd be allowed to play the "unlock" game while playing against the bots.
They need to bring this back online because alot of us are getting pissed at this point.
COD Ghosts had the correct way of allowing both competitive AND bot players to level up all the way. They introduced a separate XP and leveling system for bot play...worked the same exact way as the competitive unlocks...only it wasn't a shared system. Your MP progression/unlocks stayed in MP...and your bot unlocks/progression stayed in bot modes. Done. Everyone happy, as far as cheating issues.
I sincerely hope that DICE will keep bots in the franchise now for a very long time to come, but for future versions they really should consider mirroring the progression systems, but separating them for PvE and PvP..
If this isnt fixed before the 19th id like a partial refund. I paid 140usd with the promise I could play solo/coop with my mates and unlock everything the game has to offer. So far i havnt been able to. I paid extra for early access. Re Enable it now
I fully echo this statement, I paid £90 for the gold edition of the game knowing we could do solo and get things that way, why should we be neglicated because some abuse the system?
and why isn’t EA or DICE replying to this? Shocking stuff.
It's very annoying not getting xp for my time. To rid myself of the persistent error I'd join a portal game then I'd be able to play conquest or breakthrough. I tried everything from removing cross-play, reboot the game, and just rejoining a new game and nothing worked. Tried portal and I was able to get in so played a round and tried multi player and got right in. Since then I've been able to play even after joining portal and immediately quit and join the multi player mode. Really no point in playing a round of portal since points don't count.
