in my opinion it all got f***** by PVP toxic comunity. they started crying about balance. crying that unlocking things in PVE was not fair. crying that PVP should be best rewarded because is more "challenging" and "competitive". crying for nerfs. crying for fixes. crying if someone unlocks things before they do. Every PVP game has the same problem with mind f***** players with no ability of enjoying a game for what it is. A GAME. and i'm ready to bet that PORTAL farmers where PVP players trying to get stronger the fastest way possible, to win against others. SOLO gamers just want to enjoy playing games. they take the slow and standard way of progression while having fun. and when they are done, they play again and again just for fun. thanks to PVP for screwing all that....
Thanks in advance

@Raytheon30In All Out Warfare Solo / Co op mode, which is versus AI bots, you can level your rank, but veeeery slowly, as the xp is massively reduced. You can also unlock all attachements for weapons and vehicles. You can also unlock the camos rewarded from rank.
What you can't unlock is anything past mastery 12. So you cannot get progress towards the Tier 1 weapon camo and specialist skins.
Also we do not yet know how much BattlePass progression will be available via Solo / Co op bot mode. This worries me slightly because if its progression is hugely nerfed like the level rank xp is for us, it will take far too long to work through the 100 ranks of it.
- 4 years ago@Raytheon30 I hope this doesn't come across wrong but do you purely dislike PvP or do you just dislike the massive modes with 64 (previous BF games) or 128 players as in 2042? I personally can't stand the headless chicken cluckfest that is conquest or frankly any mode with a crazy amount of players and just wanna be able to progress with Portal.
I can totally respect if people do dislike PvP and just want to do the AI only mode and I'm enjoying it for now to avoid being forced into conquest and breakthrough to unlock weapons and attachments. It's also really nice to let my 8-year-old get some experience running around, shooting and reviving teammates. 🙂
Hope this temporary removal of key settings for Portal and solo/co-op are back soon. :/ - 4 years ago
@GenoshaONE7FIVE Thanks for your answer, but let's see if I understand ..., that is to say that you playing will unlock the weapons, accessories, vehicles and their respective accessories, right?
It will also level up your character? If I'm wrong, please correct me, but the skins (uniforms and weapon appearances can't, right? Everything else can be unlocked? And the character level up to level 12 only?
I apologize if I have misunderstood, but I want to be sure before I spend my money.
- 4 years ago@MagenZion I just don't like PVP but I like shooters like BF, when I saw that it had the option of bots (like another game mode) I was glad that this game had this mode for people who like shooters and just don't like it. like to play with other players and they just want to play against the CPU

@Raytheon30Character level can go all the way up, just really slowly.
Mastery 12 is when you unlock the last attachement on a weapon, so progress for the Tier 1 weapon camo stops there (360/1200 kills). You CAN earn the 30 kills Carbon camo though for weapons and vehicles.
Also some weapon camo skins can be still earned like the ones tied to level rank. I've also been unlocking some blue specialist skins, but not sure what unlocks them, if it's rank or what. - 4 years ago@Raytheon30
You are still able to gain experience in Solo / Coop but at a strongly reduced rate. They removed XP for capping wich gave massive XP before that.
You are still able to unlock all your attachments for every weapon / vehicle playing Solo / Coop.
In terms of XP I manage to average at 15k XP in Solo / Coop (120 to 200 kills Breakthrough match around 20 mins playtime) wich is almost the same as a multiplayer match with 20 kills and a few captures (but with 30 to 40 mins playtime). You should still be able to blaze through the early ranks quite fast (in comparison I need 105k XP for my Rank 91).
The XP is not that bad but you kinda have to sweat for it in Solo / Coop. - loveubf4 years agoSeasoned VeteranXP and mastery Progression is capped in solo/coop, details see my first post.
