@carsono311 Choose to hate this game? Hardly. Extremely disappointed in this game? Absolutely. What we were sold, and how this game was marketed is vastly different than the actual product. And nowhere close to Battlefield games of the past. This game promised an immersive experience with a great amount of levolution, with all the hype suggesting this was an expasion upon all the good ideas and gameplay from BF2, BF3, BF4, etc. What we got was a reskinned wannabe COD/Apex/Fortnite marketed under the Battlefield banner. If you are happy with this, that's your prerogative. But don't kid yourself that this is actually a true Battlefield game. So in one respect you are correct: I choose to not look at the flaming pile of crap this game is and pretend it's a masterpiece.

And no, the vast majority of games with patch notes do not generally ever exceed two pages of bug fixes for things that should have never made it into the final release.
