Leaked gameplay
Did you guys see the gameplay videos that were leaked? Seems a lot like BF4, I think. Very interesting! Got me hyped, I must say.

If the starting point is classic 800 tickets and with 128 players on board, its going to go much faster than in previous BF games. A standard starting point will now need to be 1,600 tickets if you want the approx. equivalent game round time. On top. both the total number of tickets and the ticket bleed rate are both server parameters that very easily can be adjusted to match exactly your preference. Matter of fact, I expect it also to be available as open parameters for the server creators to play around with in the BF2042 Portal.
3. We have many NoPats living/working across the waters in old Danish territories there, both in Stockholm and especially just across from CPH in the EA DICE office in Gothenburg. There were though also nice references to our other Nordic Viking brothers in the gameplay. ;o)
I was also surprised to see how unfinished the game looks in those leaked videos.

If anything you should actually be very very positively surprised about the great level of details, size and all that you saw.
It was a constrained technical playtest only, supposed to have been in a grey box.
Cosmetic optimized image rendering is not going to be switched on for the client side until the open beta and some may even wait till full launch.
- @CyberDyme Yes, that’s true - I remember they said technical playtest would simply be in a grey environment, i.e. no real game graphics.
Didn't like what i have seen so far. Looks quite like the big rival. But yeah, same procedure as with BFV. Copy the rival, lose a huge amount of players, when they drop the game after 1 or 2 months and the rest of the players (those who care) have to deal with the mess.
Well, i will be so stupid, to buy this game anyways. Sadly there is really nothing "better".
