You are right @lzilchetl ,
As I now see other latest news tidbits coming through, where some EA folks says it will be like very narrow squad focused only and each load out will count, etc. So more like squad death match or ? Before I had heard it presented as infantry CQC...As you also saw it presented in the released trailer (where the dog tag is taken).
All while now one other EA lead hinted towards maybe even 100 players in the game and bots also.
So what is it then? Team death match? Vehicles, no vehicles?
EA, masters of confusion and smoke... :o)

DICE Team
Seeing as we said nothing on it, I would take anything outside of what we official said as grain of salt. 😉 @CyberDyme
/Atic- ChrisAWJBethel4 years agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Atic Sir/Ma'am, I think it would be beneficial to everyone if DICE/SEED/Criterion/Motive repeated the steps they took to included offline bots in Star Wars Battlefront II. I was thinking they could have a lower cap of 32-40 for last gen systems like BFII. Progression could be toggled on/off, and the maps could be shrunk accordingly to accommodate for the last-gen hardware. I urge you to reconsider your stance on the AI Soldiers in Battlefield 2042, not just for me, but for all the gamers who can't afford Xbox Live Gold/PlayStation Plus or can't afford a decent Internet connection.
- 4 years ago@ChrisAWJBethel Yes, AI soldiers are what everyone wanted. They added them to Battlefront II, and anyone can play the Arcade offline. Every day people play Battlefront II with bots offline, it's a pity that there is no transport in the arcade.
