It would be so great if we could import the old battlefield maps into portal. I am not talking about mapremakes done by dice, just the old maps imported into bf2042. A lot of them look still great and would be fun to play.
For me I would love Shanghai from BF4 no changes needed. Also maps like Strike at Karkand from BF3, Ziba Tower, Azadi Palace, Markaz Monolith.
What are the maps you would like?

I would welcome any / all of the maps you name.
Currently we only have Caspian Border, Arica Harbour, Noshahr Canals and Valparaiso which are available to play on the Exodus 64 Player Conquest Playlist.
Like you I had hoped there would be loads more old BF maps loaded to Portal.
I think we were gonna get a ton more maps added to Portal but that had to be put on the back burner to get 2042 maps in a better spot
Boy, I hope you're right, that would be awesome!
The great thing about Portal is that it can just be added into the next title (in theory, anyway), so we can pick up where we left off.
I've always wanted / suggested that we get a main "Battlefield (Universe)" title, essentially portal, where everything is remastered and added, and anything new would just be classed as an expansion.
The worst part about all that would be the eventual nasty file size (could easily end up overtaking CoD).

Especially i want battlefield 2 (Year :2005) maps back to battlefield 2042 portal 's map. (Dalian plant,operation clean sweep,dragon valley ..etc)
it's not only about i'm veteran.it would be great that new generation know and test this experience.
In addition, there is no mention of an aircraft carrier (or LHD) vehicle in Battlefield 2042. This is a very silly and sad situation.
We are talking about a war game, how is it not an aircraft carrier?
This is a complete war game, and aircraft carriers have always been functional in battlefield history.

By 2042 all aircraft carriers have become cargo ships/barges.
