Lets be honest here, the MP9 and K30 need nerfing
Too much accuracy and damage at longer ranges. 90% of my deaths are literally by these two weapons

I haven't used SMGs since the patch as I'm working on my PKP.
I still die plenty to them, and very quickly, at often very long ranges. It feels like even with only 19 primary weapons that I die to the K30 and MP9 about half the time.
There's something up broadly with the guns. It seems that the devs are loath to touch the SMGs, with only the PP-29 getting a slight nerf; all the other SMGs are either untouched or, with 4.1, buffed since launch. Minimum spread on all guns is just too low - one barely has to control recoil, even on a heavy hitter like the PKP, and with the buff to aim assist the game just feels, for want of a better word, plasticky.
MP9 is taking me down at range better than ARs right now.
The PP-29 is also performing like an assault rifle right now up to mid range.
It seems to have the same headshot-machine syndrome as the AK-24
