@CountSeroInfantry play makes Battlefield more like CoD? Really? Some people don’t like constantly being shredded by vehicles and want to actually play as soldiers and support their squads, unlike in 2042, where infantry are just fodder for vehicles. Having actually FUN infantry gameplay isn’t a detriment to Battlefield, and it doesn’t make it “more like CoD.” Huge empty maps and too many players don’t give Battlefield its identity. Classes, teamplay, customization, weapon variety, and destruction do. And none of these are present in Battlefield 2042 Do removing classes and changing to unique specialists with abilities and voicelines make Battlefield more like CoD? Do silly skins make Battlefield more like CoD? Do battle passes make Battlefield more like CoD? Because these are all in 2042. And they’re all in CoD too. EA and DICE are just chasing trends unfortunately. Those of us disappointed with the game want to see it get better. We want to see it return to its roots after BFV.

Huge maps, lots of vehicles, empty spaces to drive around and engage in vehicular battle just to get to flags where good infantry fights happened. Super great immersive animations, squad play, VOIP, calling in an airstrike etc.BF2042 could reach that level. I actually very much like the new maps. What does the community actually want? Do we never ever want a new game just keep a 20 year old game with adding new maps all the time? The new game is different but very enjoyable. Dice made some mistakes but hopefully they will steer back to the right path in the next upcoming months. Everything will be OK. If someone wants to play battlefield 3 for example or you can still do that. Load up the old game. Specialists are cheeky I understand but they have fun abilities and as the title suggest it’s a futuristic game. Just enjoy it. I hope the PC gamer community will reach the level of stability of the PS4 version. Some bugs but very enjoyable right now.
