Honestly yall. It's pointless really. We keep repeating the same critisicism, and for the OG battlefield fans it's gonna be atleast 3 to 6 months before were happy.

@StingrayXBut many of us do explain why we don’t enjoy it and what we would like to see change. Many of us give EA and DICE constructive criticism so they can improve the game. It’s fine that you enjoy the game, but don’t invalidate the criticism of others. Much of it (some people can be toxic, unfortunately) is fair and justified. There were a lot of broken promises from DICE and many disappointing aspects of the game. Weapon variety & customization, map design, destruction, score bonuses, implementation of armor, and the UI are lackluster. But at the end of the day, we all just want to see it get better.

I just don't understand how EA consistently pushes for companies to release the game when its not ready.
I've had alot of game launches in my 30 years, and alot of them have been bumpy, but this is terrible. 4 patches they've out out and im still experiencing issues with * they've tried fixing in each of them.
Unable to load data
No specialist/loadout(un equipping everything i have on every single item every time)
100+ features missing is right.
Can't spawn on other squad leaders
My arrow is just a bit different from everyone else's but not giant and another color
No commander bonuses for squad leaders for targeting objectives with their squad
No bonus exp when you reach a new tier of mastery
50 + ribbons gone that we used to get xp bonuses when leveling up in tiers
No dirtbike/atv/gunless humvees to get to objectives
No server browser?!?
Half the tiers you don't get a reward
No infinatry only maps
The list is extensive.
CANT FIND LOBBIES UNLESS CROSS PLATFORM IS ON

Actually BF5 was the most Battlefieldest Battlefield for me. ✌️
Huge maps, lots of vehicles, empty spaces to drive around and engage in vehicular battle just to get to flags where good infantry fights happened. Super great immersive animations, squad play, VOIP, calling in an airstrike etc.
BF2042 could reach that level. I actually very much like the new maps. What does the community actually want? Do we never ever want a new game just keep a 20 year old game with adding new maps all the time? The new game is different but very enjoyable. Dice made some mistakes but hopefully they will steer back to the right path in the next upcoming months. Everything will be OK. If someone wants to play battlefield 3 for example or you can still do that. Load up the old game. Specialists are cheeky I understand but they have fun abilities and as the title suggest it’s a futuristic game. Just enjoy it. I hope the PC gamer community will reach the level of stability of the PS4 version. Some bugs but very enjoyable right now.

To be honest, I'm digging Portal right now and so are my friends. ....it's the only reason I bought the game and the only aspect of BF2042 that connects to the past BF titles I once enjoyed.
Having said that, I have played HLL on PS5 and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, most of my PS friends have not been able to acquire a next-gen console yet so I really haven't spent much time with it.
The other thing is that HLL is a serious shooter on the level of milsim IMO / IME. Don't get me wrong. That's a good thing IMO but it is the kind of gameplay that can be very unforgiving with a steeper learning curve than most. ....which isn't appreciated by everyone. Luckily, a few of my friends and I do enjoy more hardcore titles and I'm hoping when they do get around to getting their PS5s we'll be spending time with HLL. ....besides, it free for us.
