Xbox and playstation users are so laggy its driving me insane. When 6.0 launched it was pc players beaming me thru walls while I was on console, now it's console players beaming me thru cover in 1 frame deaths while I play on pc.
No matter where I play, ps5,xbox or pc I get 1 lobby of ownage then like a switch is flipped it's back to being on Gross end of the stick.
Really infuriating tbh because like you I've invested alot of time, effort, and money to ensuring I am good at fps games like battlefield.
But this, this either needs fixed or I guess I'll really have to quit for my mental health

Again with this? It's so infuriating to read the same thing over and over with the both sides seeing the same things.
As a console player I wish that snap and aim assist worked the way op described it. Maybe my k/d would be higher than it is.
Just to say it one more time... The same experiences you pc players have vs console players, we have with pc players. We see pc players slide, jump and shoot, spinning around and locking on targets before we can pull the trigger. Basically, if you read the op and switch pc & console, it's the same.
I think we can all agree that crossplay has much to do with our issues. They seem to not be able to adjust things so it works together. They've put us in a place where turning it off doesn't work due to not enough players to start a match. So we are stuck with it.
I love the idea of crossplay but I honestly don't think it will ever be equal play between pc and console.

@xVultureIt's infuriating to keep having an issue that ruins my experience, and I'll keep being vocal about it until I get some sort of feedback from a Dev or until we get some changes. At the very least they'll take into account how many people didn't care for crossplay or had bad experiences with it. Maybe crossplay won't be enabled as the default in the next Battlefield.
Then there's the issue with controllers getting assist on PC. It's one thing if console players want to do their own thing, but on PC I'm tired of companies over compensating and giving them these over-tuned assist. It only gets worse and justified with crossplay becoming a thing. It's made a handful of games literally unplayable for me.
In a way, we agree. Crossplay isn't as great as we thought that it might be. We tried it, but neither side is ever going to be really happy.- xVulture2 years agoSeasoned Ace@RaginSam "Then there's the issue with controllers getting assist on PC. This my (console players) point. This is just not true. The perception of aim assist and snapping is distorted from the reality that it is almost more of a hindrance than help.
Other than that, I agree with continuing to be vocal about the issues. I apologize for my initial response. I gurss after seeing the same thread multiple times, my first thought is, "here we go again". You're right though, the community should keep these topics up until we receive a response.

That's why I started the topic, it really does affect your mental health. When you try to adjust and figure out what you're doing wrong to improve, but you keep just dying instantly... what do you do with that? I'm not good at shooters all of a sudden?
Since you played on both, did it always feel like you were dying instantly to the different platform after that first round? Were there times playing on console you felt like you were given more time to react? I'm curious about your experience.

I can play maybe a game or 2 on xbox series x b4 I start being lag compensated, then it's trash from then on till I change platforms. Again 1 game of ownage then lag compensated. Change to ps5, 1 ownage match then lag compensated.
Vpn, same thing.
Idk what to do anymore but I'm raging and I should quit but how lame is it that I don't get to enjoy a battlefield title that I waited 10 years to enjoy the series again??
I'm elite at battlefield 4, I hate bfv but I'm good at it. I really really really am bitter and all this hate I feel I directly attribute to dice.
Edit, I should state wirrd ethernet netduma xr 500 gaming router fiber internet located in the middle of usa known as the fiber backbone of America.
I am litteraly punished for having good internet.
With a netduma or vpn you can play in Europe on ps5 with xrossplay off and I just own.
But it's because I'm abusing the netcode.
I am so angry, thanks dice!
