Let's talk specialists and immersion

The problem is that the specialists are in the game for that reason and that they replace classes. More precisely: the complaint is that the game was made WORSE on purpose with this change and the compaint is NOT that microtransactions exist in the first place. One might like the latter or not, but to make the game a WORSE experience gameplay wise because of sole purpose to be able to sell microtransactions later, that is the complaint here.
My point is that, so far, micro transactions do not exist in the game and therefore using that to complain about specialists is purely speculative. Also, I do not agree that specialists make for a worse gameplay experience, merely different. I personally like to play as Angel and be able to change my kit out for whatever situation arises.

Angel and also the OP Falk might be acceptable if the perks are slightly toned down to facilitate the need for team play. But having 20+ of the same characters running ON BOTH SIDES is plain stupid. If they were anonymous soldiers that looked the same, I don't care but getting shot by Angel just to be revived by angel that look IDENTICAL is plain stupid.
And don't get me started on the completely non-BF characters like Sundance or Mackay.

am i the only one who plays this game through the lense of "what is the person controlling that character trying to do and how can i stop him" instead of "i AM my on screen avatar and my enemy IS his on screen avatar and i must kill his on screen avatar"?
**edit** i view it as a chess match between players holding controllers. the game is just the chess board and i really don't care what they look like
